Who is Jackson Rathbone

Jackson Rathbone is an American actor and musician, best known for playing Jasper Hale in The Twilight Saga. Born in Singapore, Jackson grew up in Texas and after graduating from Interlochen Arts Academy, he moved to LA to experiment with movies and TV.

Jackson appeared on television in The OC, and then had a starring role in The Beautiful People. His big break came with Twilight and the role of Jasper Hale, one of the Cullen clan. His latest project sees him taking on the role of Sokko in The Last Airbender, while future roles include Truck Stop, Girlfriend (of which he is also producer and composer) and, of course, the two-part conclusion to The Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn.

In addition to acting, Jackson is also a musician, who plays guitar and harmonica and plays with the band 100 Monkeys. He has performed at numerous Twilight conventions with his band.
