Who is Jack Sparrow

Excuse Me. That Should Be "Captain Jack Sparrow"

He's a pirate. He's, well, a drunk. He has a questionable sense of morality.

Yet, he graces the walls of teenage girls, the nightly fantasies of a number of grown women and takes up residence in The Happiest Place on Earth.

I see nothing wrong with it. Do you?

Jack Sparrow Quotes

  • "A wedding? I love weddings. Drinks all around!"
  • "She's safe, just like I promised. She's all set to marry Norrington, just like she promised. And you get to die for her, just like you promised. So we're all men of our word really... except for, of course, Elizabeth, who is in fact, a woman."
  • "I think we've all arrived at a very special place. Spiritually, ecumenically, grammatically."
  • "Now... bring me that horizon."
  • "Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid."
  • "Commandeer. We're going to commandeer that ship. Nautical term."
  • "You seem somewhat familiar. Have I threatened you before?"
  • "You're not a eunuch are you?"
  • "You need to find yourself a girl mate."
  • "Well, then, I confess, it is my intention to commandeer one of these ships, pick up a crew in Tortuga, raid, pillage, plunder and otherwise pilfer my weasely black guts out."
  • "But, why is the rum gone?"

  • Was marooned on a "godforsaken spit of land" by Hector Barbossa.
  • Made a pact with Davy Jones in order for Jones to raise The Pearl from the depths.
  • Has called many a man and pirate his enemy including, but definitely not limited to, Hector Barbossa, Davy Jones, James Norrington and Cutler Beckett.
  • Once impersonated a member of the clergy.
  • Along with eight other infamous pirates, including Elizabeth Swann, Jack Sparrow is a pirate lord.
  • His father's name is Teague Sparrow who was portrayed by Keith Richards in the third film.
