In 1976, Jaco burst onto the scene with the release of Jaco Pastorius. Over the next ten years, Jaco contributed volumes to the world of music. This lens features many of Jaco's studio recordings and is in no way the complete discography.
I've left out pretty much every bootleg, and a few of the obscure recordings that are no longer available.

Portrait of Jaco, the Early YearsThis revealing audio biography is comprised primarily of never-before-heard recordings of Jaco throughout his early creative years in florida, however, the real magic in "Portrait" comes through the spoken words of Jaco himself, and the spoken words of family, close friend's and fellow musician's as they fondly look back at their special times together with Jaco.
