    when you believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior and you start living like that then the life really changes. Jesus is far above angels, He is seated on the right hand of God the Father. It is written in Hebrews 1 I think. Be blessed in Jesus.

    I recently became a Squid Angel, and I was thrilled and honored. I went around telling everyone that I was a Squid Angel, most of them didn't know what to do with it. :) When I visit a lens I look at whether the person has put something of themselves in it, especially if they have stretched a little bit and dared to share something in order to make someone else's life better. I am proud to give this lens a blessing!

    I have to believe that there may be "Ambassadors of God" known as angels because I have survived many situations where I should have expired. I chose Squid Angels in the poll because as a scientist, I have to believe that people that have actually seen angels may have been witnessing a visitation from extraterrestrials. See you around the galaxy...

    There are so many instances where the angel of God has protected me. The car spun out of control on the expressway stopped in the direction of the oncoming vehicles, but, the angle of God prevented an accidents. Psalm 34:7 The angel of the Lord en-campeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. May God bless you.

    I believe in angels. There are different kinds of angels, and I have some assigned to protect me. Others are here to guide me throufh tough times. I am a believer :)

    I definitely know that angels are among us. I was once at a service station out of state when my car just wouldn't start. I was also in an emotionally difficult place and didn't know what to do. There was no one I could call. A guy pulled into the station, and saw me. He came over to the car and looked under the hood and said, "All you need to do is jiggle this thing here..." and the car started! I thanked him and he smiled - and just walked back to his car and pretty much left. :) That has always stood out in my mind as an "angel" watching over me that day.

    Yes, I believe in angels as spirit beings. However, I recognize God uses mankind and they often compare this to a good or bad angel when it comes to behavior. As for children of Light, we are made above the angels and in His image. So although I rely on the angle's of God to do His work here on earth, one day I will judge them according to God's word as to whether or not they followed His instructions.

    O I so love this lens! I too, was raised a catholic in a catholic elementary school in SD. I never really got the whole pic until the last few years though. One book that made everything clear and true in my mind is "Heaven is for real". About the little boy who went to heaven at the young age of like 3 or 4 and lives to tell about it. It is a truely touching story and I would recommend it to anyone with any question in their mind about heaven. I believe my angel, one of my angels, is my grandma. She always sat in her kitchen and watched the birds and would get excited when a cardinal came around. Days when I am down or just need someone to talk to I always seem to see a cardinal frolicking about. I believe that is her saying "i am here with you laura". Thank you for letting me share with you!

    Squid angels clearly exist. The jury is out on other types. However people's beliefs can give them positive strength, so it's all good.

    What a won'erful thing, to have been a Squid Angel. I have been so blessed by so many different kinds of angels in my life. Without my good angel hubby-buddy, I could never have achieved most of those things which have made my life full.

    I cannot imagine life without my own children who are incredible angels, each in his/her own way. An' since joining Squidoo, there is a never-ending supply of angels who have blessed me in more ways than I can count. They don't all claim the title of angel, but no amount of costume or mask could ever hide the fact that they are all, indeed, angels from above.

    I am truly grateful for the blessings in the form of Squid Blessings, as well as Angel Hugs an' Kisses from those with their feet on the ground, every single time that I need it most. I would love to someday be a Squid Angel so's I can continue to repay summa' the many, many blessings I have received from others. Thank you for sharing your feelings 'bout being a Squid Angel. :)

    My Aunt has been my guardian angel since childhood and till now she cares for me as her own son, i definitely count her as an angel.

    My maternal grandmother passed away when I was 8 and ever since I've had dreams where I've talked to her or she's come to help me with a problem. She is my heavenly angel. Then there's my mom, my earthly angel. I tell people she has a direct line to God. ;)

    I am blessed to be a squid angel this month. I'm falling behind in my duties, but working at it as diligently as I can. I'm away from home a lot these days due to circumstances. Thanks so much for all the visits to my lenses. I have many more to create, but again, it becomes a matter of time. I would love to get them done though.

    Great lens, and yes I do believe in angels. I find it hard not to! People talk about all the bad things that happen in life but I think there is plenty of evidence for angels existing as well. It's just a question of whether people see that evidence or not.

    My dad passed away last Thanksgiving, and among the many regrets I've had since, from the insignificant and trivial to the life-changing was giving away the stuffed purple monkey he gave me. It had Velco hands to hug with and a big plush heart that says "I love you". Corny, I know but he was that kind of guy... his birthday was on Valentine's Day and one year he bought us all cutesy Valentine's Day gifts and gave them to us when we threw him a birthday party.

    Sometime about a year before he passed away, I gave that monkey away. I was trying to minimize how much I own, simplify a bit. I had a bag of stuffed animals I'd never been too attached to packed up to go to charity and a visiting friend asked if she could take them. I said sure, and thought nothing of it at the time. After my dad died, I regretted it terribly. When my friend found out my dad had died, she gave the monkey back to me. I burst into tears and held that monkey for a long time.

    Now the monkey sits on my dresser, and it's the strangest thing; I know my dad was watching over me that day the monkey came home again, and in a way I think of the monkey as sort of a manifestation of my dad, the guardian angel.

    I believe in angels of all sorts and have been touched by many. I will never forget when Chef Keem helped me out with something and I told him he was an angel. He said, "Aren't we all?" This really touched me and I thought, yes, we all have the ability to be angels and we can see the angel in everyone else. Thanks for being an angel on Squidoo, Julie!

    I wasn't sure about angel belssings, becuase I had never really ";seen" them but thanks to you and others special lensmasters who take time and energy and are real belssings I bleieve that angels are everwhere.

    I think angels are there to guide us throughout our lives. Think of the times you almost cut in front of another car or add other near misses. I think this is when our guardian angels are at work. Blessed by a SquidAngel

    My grandfather always came to visit my grandmother after he died, my grandmother would tell us stories of his visits. She felt very safe and secure knowing he was always looking in on her.

    Many years ago a friend gave me two books on Angels. They were nice to read, but I wasn't sure what to believe. As I lay in bed one night I thought, "If I have a guardian Angel, please let me know you're here." As I finished the last word, I felt a huge hand grasp my foot and squeeze it. It was so tangible that I sat up and looked to see if anyone was there. I lived alone and no, no one was there ... except my guardian Angel!

    Jacqueline, what an amazing story ... I am indeed touched by your sharing it and touched by there being guardian angels who let us know they are there for us. I was connecting with my guardian angels yesterday as I road on the back of our motor scooter ... going a weee bit faster than I would have liked. Whoa cowboy!

    I love the old Bible verse about being kind with whomever you meet, "for some have entertained angels unawares." I have had more than my share of angels in my scrappy life. Maybe I NEEDED more than most!! Beginning with a great aunt who took the place of my maternal grandmother, who died before I was born. Great lens and Blessed 2.

    Do I believe in Angels? I know that someone has been watching out for me my whole life, and on Squidoo so many of the Angels were instrumental in my becoming involved in the community, including you my dear :) You were and are an Angel, whether you have Squidoo wings or not :)

    Yes, I believe in Angels. The night my mom passed, my neighbor told me I was sitting up on her couch talking to a yellow glow beside me. This happened around 6 am on Christmas Eve morning. Apparently I told the "glow" to take care of her, it disappeared and I laid back down on the couch. My mom passed at 8:30 that morning. No doubt in my mind there are angels. 5*

    I do believe in angels like you have on your lens --there are some really pretty ones here. I also believe in faeries, which are nature angels. Those are my favorite and feel closest to them. Very lovely page, feels peaceful :)

    I certainly belive in angels as I used to be one. I also think my son has the spirit of an angel too.

    I used to be Metatron (not to be missunderstand with Megatron that is a character from transformers). One of the most powerfull angels, but we all know what happends with angels with too much powers, right? They get kicked out of heaven. Well, that's not the main reason, but with much power, there's easier to do a mistake. Not every decision made in heaven is right, however. I think Lucifer for an example is a missunderstood angel. Have you looked up his name? Lucifer means lightbringer. How is that supposed to sound like evil? He brings light to the world. Maybe Lucifer is not different from the nordic good Balder. The kindest nordic good. There's a lot of stories about what Lucifer did. One version tell us that god gave us free will, but didn't want us to use it, but follow him. Lucifer wanted us to use our free will. Doesn't sound evil to me.

    You're the first one on the web that I've seen from my birthplace, Cleveland, Ohio. I went through the sixth grade there before we moved to Califonia. I went to West Tech, and I was an altar boy at St. Mary's on the west side.

    How very lovely to hear that you believe in angels and that you are actually visited by angels. I was told when I had my spiritual reading at Lily Dale that my two guardian angels were present on either side of me -- both grandmothers. It is a very warming feeling to have them watching over us and guiding us!

    Always believed in angels. Nice to know some who believes in them as well.

    Angels are real. I have several Guardian Angels, after all, I'm a guy. My grandmother, my mother, and my wife. I suspect one of my granddaughters is too.

    My grandmother's spirit comes to visit me every now and then.

    The others are with me every day.

    I have believed in Angels all of my life. My grandmother always use to tell me I had angels watching over me.

    Now, see there, and I don't believe in spirits yet visited Lily Dale many times and attended seances. Like being at a magic show. I believe there are living people who can "read your mind" and are so sensative to another human being that they can talk with them and say things which trigger the other persons thoughts about the same subjects, thereby creating a feeling of sympatico between them. Nice to have this same thing happen with the man of your life (or woman). My loss, about believing in angels, I guess.

    Let me kick it off! Years ago when my mother and I went to Lily Dale in New York, I had a long spiritual reading. The lady who did my reading told me that she saw spirits -- two female presences -- one on my left and one on my right. She likened them to my guardian angels and said she thought they were my two grandmothers who had passed on several years before. Since that day, I've always felt I was in the presence of angels.
