    Besides having Squidoo angels, I'd like to get one of those personal, guardian angels. Maybe I have one and just don't know it, as my life has missed any major injuries, illnesses or disasters so far. Lovely lens.

    I'm glad I found this lens, because I was given an invitation to apply for Squid Angel, when I became a giant squid. I sort of knew what an angel's job entailed, but I didn't know details and now I do. This was a really entertaining lens, so my angelic education was enjoyable.:~) Seriously Julie, this is a great lens. See you around the galaxy...

    I just love this lens. I often hear a soft warning voice when I'm driving on the roads of North wales and when I turn the next corner there is often a hazard which I was being warned about - I believe in these angels

    Hi Julie, I just got my angel wings and I wanted you to be the first to know, after my husband of course. I'm a little awash, adrift, abashed and awed to be asked. I thought that I had missed it altogether when I let it pass before. I am still just as busy as before but will have to try my best to be a good Squid Angel. Now, enough about me. I've been wondering what you've been up to besides making more great lenses. I had a wee talk with Chef Keem and he told me about his new venture.
    Well must run and see if I can do a little blessing here and there, back and forth, up and down. :D

    Thanks for stopping by my lenses, JJ, and congrats on becoming a Squid Angel.
    I believe in angels of all kinds. After Mom divorced our abusive alcoholic father, she had to clean chickens for a living. One nite when I was ten, I sat in the kitchen doing my homework while she finished the last chicken. She looked so weary. A few minutes later she joined me at the table with the most glorious smile on her face. She said, "I think an angel just hugged me. I feel so warm and happy all of a sudden." I never forgot her face and the joyous sound of her voice. Yes, there are angels all around us and whichever one gave my mom a hug that night, I'm grateful. Great lens.

    When I first joined Squidoo a few months back, I thought my first angel blessing was just a really sweet way of saying "nice lens". I think the first one just said something like Blessings to you and I thought, wow, how cool. Then I got one that said Blessed by a Squid Angel. Ok, I thought, so this is a lensmaster with a funny bone and they just call themselves a Squid Angel. Then I joined the Giant Squid Challenge and learned sooooo much. I figured out real fast how "ignorant" I really was and I just keep my mouth shut and my eyes open. Now, when a Squid Angel leaves a blessing, I feel gifted.

    Oh, by the way, could you please keep that little confession under your wings. No one else knows:)

    Fabulous lens about a very worthwhile vocation and encouraging program. My first instinct is to doubt my work, but many angels have flown in and blessed lens I was not too sure about. It just makes me want to do a better job and create even more, which has to be a major point. Yes? Thanks for letting us all know about the program, and your involvement, in your own classy way.     Now this is an angelic lens! What I like about your lenses is you give them such a personal touch. There are times when I'm not in the mood for lines and lines of heavy reading, and your lenses are so well put together with picture breaks, and other imagery, that it is like a little mini vacation. I'm probably not explaining this well, but I don't know how else to put it. You're creatively awesome!

    I do believe in angels of all kinds. I have a collection of angels that all look different. I often like to imagine what kind of angel they are deep down. Many in my collection are Guardian Angels. I have been sharing my own guardian angels with some in my family and my best friend because of their situations. I believe that they have helped them. I fear that I need to be selfish and bring them back to help me.

    I really enjoyed reading and especially looking at your angel lens. But then I enjoy all of the lenses you do. 5 blessings, a lensroll and a fave for you and your angels.

    I am new to Squidoo Jaguar Julie you were the first Squid Angel I heard of. I have found a lot of inspiration and the nerve to create my first lens as a result of all your hard work and beautiful lenses.

    I want to thank you for all you have given and what your lenses will continue to give. I am not sure what it means for you to retire. I thought a squid Angel was someone with 300 or more lenses - if the lenses live on how do you retire?

    I was thinking today, of things to be "grateful" for. With everything thats going on in our economy, and everyone struggling to make ends meet, We still have A LOT to be grateful for. I have clean drinking water, I have a roof over my head, and I have at least 1 meal a day in my stomach. Much more than many other people in this world. There are a million more things to be grateful for....too many to mention here of course...(maybe I'll make a lens on that one)

    Today and every day is a great day to give Thanks To GOD for everything we DO HAVE... Including Angels like you Julie!
