How To Jailbreak iPod Touch 3.1.3 3G, 2G, 1G

Okay this will work on all iPod touch and all iPod touch generations. You will need a computer and you will need to download: Blackra1n from this website: http://blackra1n.com/

Then download 3.1.2 firmware for your iPod touch from this website: http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/
If your iPod touch is a 3rd generation you have to download the 3.1.2 firmware for iPod touch 2nd Generation firmware or else this won't work.
After the download, open iTunes and make sure you have a backup of your iPod because this requires restoring your iPod.

Then if you have a PC hold shift but if you have a mac press ctrl and then press restore. A box will pop up and then locate the 3.1.2 firmware you downloaded. Click on it and your iPod will restore to 3.1.2 firmware.

After that it's easy. FIRST you have to put your backup on on your iPod touch or else when you jailbreak it, you can't put your backup. You can restore your old backup or set new iPod then restore. When it ask you to update to 3.1.3 don't! Never do it again or you'll have to do this processor again. After you install your backup click on blackra1n. Then click make it rain. Your iPod will reboot and have a picture of Geohot ( the inventor of blackra1n). iTunes will pop up and say your iPod touch is in recovery mode, restore it. Don't panic just exit iTunes and their will also be a message that says you've successfully jailbroken your iPod blah blah blah. Click okay. if it doen't work on the first try, download blackra1n again. Slide your iPod and disconnect it from the computer and you'll see an icon of blackra1n. Then you can download cydia or Rock.

You have successfully jailbroken your iPod!!
