T-shirts are and have been a part of the world's fashion landscape for about the last 100 years in varying degrees of intensity and in all their various forms.
The idea of the t-shirt came to the US inspired by European soldiers during the war useful as under-shirts and have turned into the decorated garments that people wear as statements, advertisements, and just because they are both comfortable & utilitarian.
Depending on the t-shirt prices for a decorated t-shirt have been in excess of $150 or as little as a dollar or so.
