    Coming from Yorkshire myself I can really appreciate the humour in James Herriots books, I couldn't get enough of them as a teenager!
    Also loved the films and tv series.

    Huge fan although I've not read all of his work. ...That James Herriot boxed set looks tempting.

    I really like James Herriot books. I started reading them years ago and loved them then and still do now:) Any one of them would make a lovely gift.
