My Five Favorite James Taylor Songs
- You Can Close Your Eyes- This song has a great sound and only sounds better when played live. When I am playing guitar for an audience this is always the crowd favorite.
- Something In The Way She Moves- I like this song because it can be played slow and heartful or it can be played with a little faster beat. Som of JT's songs sound random, this one has a nice message.
- Steamroller- Growing up the sonf of a doctor in beautiful country, JT had little of the Blues. When he moved to NYC, everyone was playing the blues so this was JT's contribution.
- Suite for 20 G- This song was created because they had to fill the quota of their album. James Taylor put together three different songs that he had been working on and rented a studio to record. The total studio fees were $20,000. You can hear as he shifts between each song style.
- Blossom- A great sound and fun to sing and play on the guitar.
