Jamie Oliver's Two New American Television Shows
Jamie's American Roadtrip is a new six-part show in which Jamie will be travelling and working in the United States. This show is a cooking and travel series with Jamie also looking at the social issues and the varied cultures of current day America. (Hence the Village People theme in the trailers for the show.)
Jamie's Reality Series however is the show that I first heard about in which he will bring a healthy makeover to an entire city and will travel to some of the unheathiest places in America to people find ways to improve their eating habits. He will address issues like city schools, workplaces, supermarkets, fast-food joints and, of course, whatever other avenues present themselves.
For now, this page is about both shows since there is very little information about the obesity one. Eventually, when more information is available, I will create a separate page for each of these shows.

Jamie's new book will be a companion to the new show, Jamie's American Roadtrip.
"Jamie will try real American food and meet the most interesting cooks and producers that this vast country has to offer. His epic journey will take him to the heart of America: its people, culture, music and, most importantly, its food.
