My Honest Review of the Jamorama Guitar course
I brought this a little while ago, well over a year ago to be precise, when picking the guitar up again after a 10 year gap in playing. To be fair I could just about hold down a few major chords and strum or finger pick to make some noise.
Jamorama offers 3 courses the main Jamorama course, Jamorama acoustic and Jamorama lead guitar.

Jamorama is a well thought out and put together pack and is aimed at the beginner to intermediate guitar player.
So what do you get for your money?

- Access to the Jamorama Forum.
What is interesting is the way the teaching is presented via the games and teaching aids by making it fun and not only teach you to play but help you develop you musical ear so you can listen to your favorite songs and say , That's in C and he is playing a Gm7 there.
It takes a little practice but it dose actually work. Having this skill helps when playing in a band especially if you are doing covers; it speeds up the process learning new songs like you would not believe.
It also teaches how to read written music and transcribe songs; this is rare in online / download guitar courses.
The key question is dose Jamorama work; will it teach you to play the guitar? Well if you are a beginner or an intermediate player then yes the Jamorama learning kit will guide you through the process very well.
It will give you the key skills to becoming a good competent guitarist and musician and is possibly one of the best all round courses I have seen.
As for cost it is extremely good value at $39.95 / £21 approx; this is less than one 1 to 1 lesson with a guitar tutor. If you were to go to lessons you would spend approximately $600 / £315 to get to the same level of playing ability.
Out of all the general non style specific courses I have tried this is possibly the best all round package.
