This story leaves the book at the point where Mr. Darcy is finalizing arrangements for the marriage of Miss Lydia Bennet in London, but rather than going on to Netherfield with Bingley, he decides to visit his friend in his cottage located in South Scotland. Darcy and Elizabeth need to find their way to each other without Lady Catherine's intervention.

However, before he goes off to secure it, some loose ends must be tied up. This story begins exactly where Scotch and Sirens left off, only this story's main plot is not as much involved with scotch and siren as it is with Bath and Betrothals.

I honestly can't see Elizabeth and F. Darcy with any besides each other. After everything they go through in the book and movies, but especially the book, you know they are right for each other. So I think alternate pairing is a bad idea.
