Pride and Prejudice Fanfiction by multiple authors
- Scotch and Sirens
- by Laura and Sylwia
This story leaves the book at the point where Mr. Darcy is finalizing arrangements for the marriage of Miss Lydia Bennet in London, but rather than going on to Netherfield with Bingley, he decides to visit his friend in his cottage located in South Scotland. Darcy and Elizabeth need to find their way to each other without Lady Catherine's intervention.
Regency, PG - Bath and Betrothals
- by Laura and Sylwia
After much misunderstanding of each other, some unintentional interference by well-meaning friends and family, and some meddling by a few others as well, Darcy and Elizabeth have finally found their way to one another. He has proposed and she has most happily accepted. They have agreed to keep the joyous news to themselves until he receives official consent from her father. However, before he goes off to secure it, some loose ends must be tied up. This story begins exactly where Scotch and Sirens left off, only this story's main plot is not as much involved with scotch and siren as it is with Bath and Betrothals.
Regency, PG-13/R Work in Progress - Pemberley Madness

Pride and Prejudice Fanfiction by Alison
- Forces of Passion
- This story hinges around the force of passion, it conjectures how desire might disrupt in the world of 1812. It begins with a rather different version of events in April, in Mr Collins' parlour, when propriety is briefly breached and the conventions of Jane Austen's perfect novel are challenged by matters usually dealt with at that time in French rather than English fictions. The rest is as the saying goes, about the powers of history and imagination.

Alternate Pairings Duel
There are stories where Lizzy or Darcy find their happiness with someone else. What do you think about them? Are such stories still JAFF stories? Is it good that authors venture into new directions or they should rather write original fiction?
What do you think about alternate pairings?

agathe says:
they're really interesting.it makes the story stands out from all the others whose endings are predictable

Depends on the what the alternate pairings are, but sometimes variety is the spice of life.

JustJulie says:
I can't imagine a different pairing from the Ever brooding Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth {my personal favorite); or Mr. Bingley and Jane. Both pairs fit so well together that you don't need alternate pairings!!!

jaye3000 says:
I have to agree with kika57. Darcy and Lizzy are the perfect pair. Their going back and forth and watching their feelings unravel is what makes the story so interesting.
Posted January 15, 2009
kika57 says:
Without the Darcy & Lizzy pairing its not P&P fan fiction. The whole purpose I read JAFF is to experience all the obstacles that D&L overcome to capture true love. Any other pairing is just not right - I feel the same about Jane & Bings and I feel that sometimes Bings gets the raw end of the stick when Jane is paired with someone else.
Posted December 23, 2008
Presumptuous says:
It isn't right if it isn't D&E. It just isn't.

IN LOVE WITH DARCY FOREVER says:
no no no no no no no no no FWD and E(LIZZY)B HAVE TO GET TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted October 31, 2008
Sandy says:
P&P is about the conflict between D&E's personalities and how they overcome their pride and prejudices to find there way to each other. Any other pairings are just not P&P and resemble the original in that the characters share the same names.
Posted October 25, 2008
Marie says:
Why bother! Obviously its the Darcy-Elizabeth pairing that draws people to fanfic. If your feeling creative, don't stop at the names but change them!
Posted October 09, 2008
Maria says:
No way!!! I don't mind them thinking they are in Love with someone else as long as they come to their senses and in the end, end up together. It just wouldn't be P&P.
Posted October 06, 2008
Gidget says:
I read one that was so well written until I got to the end. Darcy didn't go back to lizzy and that story turned out to be a nightmare for me.
