We'll, I have heard that creating a lensography is the hip thing to do on Squidoo these days and that everyone is doing it. I know, I know, you shouldn't do something just because 'everyone else is doing it', (my mom taught me better) but in this case I think it should be okay. I am just creating a lensography afterall. What harm could that do? Plus, I certainly don't want to be considered "un-cool" by not having one. I want to be a part of the Squidoo in-crowd. I want to fit in. Geez, what am I back in highschool? Get a grip on yourself girl! :)

About Me~
A very quick bio!
I have lived my entire life in the great state of New York. I worked in the accounting field for 10 years before leaving my job when my first child was born. I have been a stay at home mom now for 11 years and truly love it! Of course there are some days when I want to pull my hair out, but I wouldn't change a thing. I have three children, 2 girls ages 11 & 8 and a son who is 4. This September my husband and I will celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary and we have been together for a total of 20 years!
I handle the accounting and office work for my husband's construction business as well as run my own image hosting site. I love keeping busy with grown up things. It has helped me to keep my mind sharp while being overwhelmed with diapers, bottles, play dates and soccer practice! :)
I came across Squidoo on a popular webmaster forum I frequently post in. I actually saw the site mentioned three times before I made the decision to join. I guess three times the charm!

- Thanks for the insights into your life and for the great lensmaking example -- I'm finding lensographies to be kind of tricky. You clearly know how to make things happen and you seem to juggle an awful lot with deceptive ease. Blessed.

- Hi Janet, You have some really great lenses and have worked very hard. But I have to laugh because you mention the 3 AM nights and those late Squidoo nights have become a joke in my house. I think there's a lot of us who do our best work in the middle of the night. LOL

- OMGoodness, yes! I have seen you around, of course, but I did not know we had SO much in common! I am a SAHM too, also stay up til 3 a.m. making lenses, am a Giant Squid 100, have lenses on death of pets (which is kind of an odd subject) and I love birthday party themes and cakes! I have been married 27 years.
I am the Feature Writer for the Kids & Teens Parties section on Suite101 - Maybe I can interview you or something some time! Too bad we are on opposite sides of the USA -- I think we'd be good pals!

Thank you for writing all you have written on Squidoo. Your lens is the first I have read since joining and before even deciding what my lens will be about. I liked the encouraging bit most. Your candid view of how long it will take to start earning a decent sum with squidoo really brought me back to earth of my high horses of thinking I have just discovered my personal money minting machine. Anyway, i ll keep and open mind and set up as many lens and hope to make an impact and be an encouragment to others too.
