So, who really is Jang Geun Suk?
His Biography...
Jang Geun-Seok is a South Korean actor and singer who was born in Danyang County of Chungcheongbuk Province last August 4, 1987.
He was introduced to the world of entertainment at the early age of 6 as a child model. Four (4) years later, he debuted in the HBS sitcom, "Selling Happiness". Since then, he continued to work as a child actor.
He was inspired by the music of Japanese singer Ken Hirai and the rock band, L'Arc-en-Ciel while in middle school that he started learning the Japanese language. Jang Geun Suk spent his junior high school years in New Zealand to learn English and Japanese.
A job offer from MBC brought our lovely boy back to South Korea. He was given a role in the popular sitcom, "Nonstop 4". It was in 2005 when he portrayed as the president's son in the Korean hit drama, "Lovers in Prague" that he became famous to the drama fans.
In 2006, Jang Geun Seok played the role of a deaf boy in the Japanese movie, "One Final Missed Call." In the same year, he was casted in the KBS historical drama, Hwang Jini.
In 2007, he played the role of Hyeon Ju in the film, "The Happy Life". In this film, he was able to prove that he is also a talented singer. His next dramas in 2008, Doremifasolasido and Beethoven Virus, were also music-inspired.
In 2009, Geun Seok was casted as a villain in the true story thriller "The Case of Itaewon Homicide" - an unsolved murder that happened in the Burger King restaurant in in Itaewon, Seoul, South Korea.
In the same year, Geun Seok also starred in the SBS drama, You're Beautiful / He's Beautiful where he played the role of the leader of a popular idol group, A.N.Jell.
