Fortune is a global business magazine published by Time Inc.'s Fortune Money Group. Founded by Henry Luce in 1930, the publishing business, consisting of Time, Life, Fortune, and Sports Illustrated, grew to become Time Warner, the world's largest media conglomerate, before it was acquired by AOL in 2000. Fortune's primary competitors in the national business magazine category are Forbes, which is also published bi-weekly, and BusinessWeek. The new transistor holds great promise for the future. It's a tiny, solid device about the size of a pea that will amplify electrical signals a thousandfold and do may things a vacuum tube can do. The Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad microfilms its waybills in minutes, cuts running schedules, saves costs in train idling time.

You don't find a Rio Grande freight idling at the terminal while waybills are copied by hand. Instead Recordak Mircofilming copies them. Then they're put aboard, and the trains is off in just about one-fifth the time it used to take, thus saving hours of valuable crew and train time.
