WILDLIFE

Ranked #31,542 in Education, #556,157 overall | Donates to Squidoo Charity Fund

My husband Jim and I have a small wolf rescue.  At the moment we have 36 animals on site.  I majored in Biological Parks and Aquaria. While attending College I worked in a small Zoo. I worked with small and medium size felids (margays, Leopard cats and Ocelots). All types of birds from Parrots to Eagles. Many types of primates, and a few reptiles. Also some hoof stock. About 10 years ago We got our first wolf. We didn't start out to become a rescue. But because our love of the animals and the need to teach others about the importance of wildlife and their habitat, we couldn't turn down the wolves that started to find their way to our home.

Now it is time to expand our efforts, We will be turning the wolf rescue into a full wildlife rescue Rehab and Education Center. It is our goal to take in any indemic animal that has been abandoned by parents, or injured, and rehabilitate and release if possible. and if not possible to let the animals live out their lives in comfort and without fear of more harm.

I truely believe that for the wildlife to survive we need to teach people how to live in harmony with all creachers that roam this earth.
