Japa Mantras - Universal Creative Vibrations
What are Japa Mantras? Japa is a form of meditation originating from Vedic traditions. However, there are also practices by Buddhists and Catholics alike that could fall under the broader definition of Japa.
Japa is a Sanskrit word whose root, jap-, means "to utter in a low voice, repeat internally, (or) mutter."
A mantra is effectively vibrational, i.e. sound... this could be either audible chanting or internally repeated.

A Modern Application Of Japa Mantras With Wayne Dyer
Japa happens to be the chosen meditation of the eloquent author and speaker, Dr. Wayne Dyer. His books have made a profound impression on my own life, and I first learned of Japa through his wonderful little book, Getting in the Gap.
In this book, Dr. Dyer addresses not only the HOW of meditation but the WHY, and at the end of the book, he includes a CD where he leads you through a meditation session in his own deep, soothing tones.

Dr. Dyer's Writing Is Responsible For More Than One Breakthrough In My Own Life...
I highly recommend any of his published works, and I know that if they spoke to me, they could easily be words you need to hear also.
