The Grudge
Year:2002; Dir: Takashi Shimizu
The Grudge is one of my favorite Japanese Horror Films. After a brutal murder, the souls of a young woman and her son remains haunting the house killing everyone who come close to it.The Japanese version is much colder and scarier than the American version, which I think it's easier to follow. But director Takashi Shimizu brings all the elements of what a really scary movie should be.
