About a year ago I was searching for something fulfilling to do with my life. I was an expat living quite an isolated life in Japan. Home most days with my two children I felt like I needed to DO something with my life that didn't revolve solely around my role as a mother.

After a bit of soul searching via my blog I hit upon the idea of sewing. I started Mee a Bee in October 2007. Sewing and buying cute Japanese material has quickly become an obsession. It is such a satisfying way to spend my evenings and little one's nap time
