Niru ni
Here are some examples of using the verb to resemble or niru. Niru is always followed by the particle ni, so don't forget!Tom Cruise ni nitte iru to omowanai? - Don't you think he looks like Tom Cruise?
Oka^san ni nitte imasu. (I)(HE)(THEY) look like (MY)(HIS)(THEIR) Mom, or (I)(HE/SHE)(THEY) resemble (MY)(HIS)(THEIR) Mom.
Tom Cruise in English and the pronunciation of Tom Cruise the name in Japanese is still Tom Cruise! Although it may not sound like it, it sounds somewhat like it! LOL
