Japanese One Point Advice - Japanese vocabulary lesson
No distinction can be made between plural and singular countable nouns. The English morpheme "s" or "es" when added to most countable nouns makes the words plural. "He is a loser, they're losers but you can't say that they are all lost!"Kare wa makeshimono, karera wa makeshimono demo minna wa michi ni mayotte inai desu.
Notice how makeshimono is translated the same both times.
