Learning Java for Beginners Resources

One way to learn Java if you are a complete beginner to programming is to take an introduction to programming course that uses Java at college or high school.

However, you can learn Java on your own! If you want to learn Java through self study, and check out the Java video tutorials on youtube and buy a good book to start out with. Like Beginning Programming with Java for Dummies

hmmmmm...I say yes and no. Cuz once you learn Java all other languages are easy.

If you have Windows then learning C Sharp not only teaches you to program but it teaches you a lot about Windows operating systems.

Python and Ruby are easy to learn, easy to use and more hosting companies are using them. Java Script is still the web's number one scripting language so sometime or the other you'll have to learn Java.
