Definitely one of my all-time favorites, that was Jayne Mansfield! She was an American actress, Playboy centerfold and sex symbol.
During the 1950s, she was a leading sex symbol. In February 1955, she was the Playmate of the Month in Playboy. She would appear in the magazine several more times over the years.
Mansfield starred in several popular Hollywood films that emphasized her platinum-blonde hair, dramatic hourglass figure and cleavage-revealing costumes. In her heydey, she "competed" with Marilyn Monroe and Mamie Van Doren.

I remember when I heard this news about Jayne Mansfield!
On June 29, 1967, Jayne was riding in front with Ronnie Harrison and lawyer Sam Brody on the way from a Mississippi nightclub engagement. Her children, Mickey Jr., Zoltan and Mariska sat in the back. As they rounded a curve on a dark stretch of road, the car slammed into a slowed semi. Though the children survived with minor injuries, everyone sitting in the front was killed instantly.The world was stunned. Jayne's personality was so vibrant, her career so vivacious, that it was impossible to believe she was gone. At 34, she had already earned a special place in the hearts of millions, and with her death came a deep void that will never be filled.
Jayne was laid to rest in Fairview Cemetary in Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania. There is also a centograph dedicated to her in the Hollywood Forever Memorial Park in Hollywood, California. --Jayne Mansfield Biography.
