How's your Fourth Day??

Fourth Day is the time representation the end of the three day pilgrim experience from Emmaus or Chrysalis. It is a commencement, of sorts; the beginning of a new life, after spending three days working on your relationship with the Lord.

Ever done anything that just keeps getting better? The first person I ever sponsored for Emmaus is now going to be a team member on the upcoming October walk. It's great to see someone else grow!

If you have ever flown on Chrysalis, I would MOST DEFINITELY 100% recommend you to be a team member for another flight! By now you know that being on the flight was a pretty incredible experience, but teaming on it gives you a whole new perspective on everything. Not only do you get a chance to reboot your spiritual life, but also you get to witness others just starting their bond with Christ. When I teamed, I got to serve as the assistant music director. Standing in front of a bunch of worshiping teens had so much more of an effect on me than I thought it would. I cannot tell you the number of times I had to fight back tears while up there because right in front of my eyes, I could see the lives of those girls being changed right there.
Since I was helping lead worship, instead of leading a table, I thought that I wouldn’t be able to get to know a bunch of the girls very well; BOY was I wrong! I still talk to a lot of those girls today and I even made a best friend out of that weekend. Teaming on a Chrysalis flight was one of the best decisions I have made in my life.
    FLY WITH CHRIST!

fourth day has been an incredible journey, tears of joy, overwhelming sense of Agape, and just how big and unfathomable the depth of true grace, mercy and agape, unconditional love are. That the great mystery is the conditions were met before any existed. The idea of the rainbow as representing the unmatched vast variety of God's, manifest Love in Christ Jesus....DeColoes

I've been on my Fourth Day journey for over 2 years. I've teamed on both Emmaus and Chrysalis, but the most personally rewarding experience for me was being a Sponsor. When you follow all of the things the sponsor is supposed to do, you truly learn to serve someone in ways you would never imagine. It makes me think how we should be serving ALL people with that same kind of Agape Love.
