Samantha did travel across the world. She went to the St. Germaine Blvd. with her mother for lunch only to run into the Tate's. Samantha went across time to see if Darrin would still love her over Shiela without him having met Samantha yet. They were several years into their marriage! Samantha popped Sleeping Beauty out of the story book to convince Prince Charming to go back into the story book. Samanth brought (was it Cleopatra)into her time zone to convince Esmeralda's goof ,Ceasear, to go back from whence he came. Samantha fought City Hall. She brought a child home for Christmas from the orphanage. She introduced the child and Darrin to Santa Clause. I don't remember Jeannie even celebrating Christmas. Samantha even fought bigotry. Although Samantha had bad hair days, at least it was her. Don't tell me Jeannie never wore a wig cause she did. I think there was some peroxide in Jeannie's bottle. And #1 reason Sam is better than Jeannie? She proved twice she could breed!

I voted for Jeannie, because I just came here from "WWWF" where she lost to Samantha! I'm doing this here too, because there I couldn't point out, since they are closed now, that sure, There was Dick York and then Dick Sargent for Samantha to deal with! But for Jeannie, there was Larry Hagman and then Wayne Rogers! So both of them had spouses that looked different. By the way, only Samantha had "Tabatha" and then "Tabitha"! (Liberty then Lisa.)

"Jeannie was Tony's slave; Samantha wasn't enslaved to Darrin."

...in appearances only! I would say that even though Jeannie was "enslaved" to Tony, she disobeyed him and exercised her own will at every chance. Samantha, on the other hand, was quick to bow down to the master of the house :rollseyes: As for the fight, I say Jeannie 10-1 odds! Unlike Samantha who is generally non-violent, Jeannie is well practiced in the art of ancient torture and warfare (how many times do we see poor Roger or Tony get blinked into dungeons & torture chambers for upsetting Jeannie?); she has quite a fiery temper.

I love them both, but I'd have to say that Samantha wins. How so? Once Jeannie got trapped in that bottle, she's screwed! That doesn't stop Samantha. Genies can't get out of enclosed spaces,but witches can. Jeannie was Tony's slave; Samantha wasn't enslaved to Darrin. Another thing; Jeannie kept falling for her sister's dirty tricks; now I know that Jeannie was a little naive,but come on!! Or did she refuse to believe that her sister was that jealous and hateful? Samantha, however, didn't go for any of that with her cousin, Serena. She was very hip to her cousin's devilish ways as well as her mother, Endora's. So while I love both characters, Samantha gets the upper hand here.
