This was the second wiring kit that I've installed in my Liberty (the first was made by another manufacturer). The Hoppy was much easier to install and seems to be of a better design.

Works well, very easy to connect and setup (instructions on how to remove the side panel are somewhat sketchy). The only drawback is that the wiring to the hitch is barely long enough to make it there, so be careful not to damage it and also look where you route it through.

Do you have a sloted screw driver and a 3 foot non-metallic (read: wood) stick? Then you will have no problem installing these. Forget the sockets, wrenches, torx and inverted torx drivers the Chrysler loves to use.

Prop up the hood in the middle with the non-metallic stick (just to sure you don't arc the battery terminals). Pop out one metal retaining rings on each end of the strut with the slotted screw driver and pull the old supports out. Take note which side the rod protrudes from the housing. The retaining rings on the new struts are already in place and don't need to be removed. Just align the hole on the strut to the peg on the hood and pop them in. Give them a little tug to make sure they hold. You won't be disappointed with the quality either. They hold firm and operate well.

Removal of old hood struts and installation of Strong Arm struts took less than five minutes with only a screw driver. Strong Arm struts were an exact match for the originals.

This is my 2nd steering wheel cover....dont get me wrong , it is great quality , regretfully when i took the JEEP for service one of the technicians in the dealership took it away (for steering aligment) and lost it...thats another story..i got another one (at dealer expense)simply because it is amazing...keeps the steering wheel cool, looks great and gives a sense of sportiness to my JK..get it , you wont regret it!

This is practically the first item I bought for my new Jeep Patriot. I grew tired of the hard steering wheel very quickly. It's been almost a year and this cover still looks brand new. I highly recommend it!
