1. Focus on what you want... Only!
I want you to imagine for a minute you are in a hi speed automobile race. Each car is doing well over 100 mph. You come into the final turn tires are just screaming for mercy.

Then all of a sudden you lose control of the vehicle. What's your Faith?

You look up! All you see is a big huge wall that seems to stretch for miles. You keep looking at it and wondering, no your praying please don't let me hit this wall.

Oh you know your faith! It's inevitable what your destiny is, then all of a sudden you remember your training

Look to where you want to go if you want to steer out of danger and no doubt just like your many hours of defensive training taught you...

You steer away from the wall and finish your race ready to race again another day.

Without that training you would have definitely panicked and got exactly what you where focusing on, a very bad day!

2) Control The Only Thing You Can, You!!!

You cannot control others they live in there own reality and to try to do so will lead to unnecessary stress.

Every one in the beginning does well because they are trying to impress you but eventually they all go lame. When they do....

Just shoot them in the head and put 'em out of their misery don't make it yours! (Not literally LOL!!) But you get the picture....

3) Never Settle For Less

People will try to get you to fall for anything and like the saying goes if you don't stand for something you will fall for anything.

So know what you want. Focus on it with a single minded purpose. Complete it and then do it all over again. Always keep a goal in mind that has meaning to you not the next person. This leads to my 4th rule

4) Help Yourself First

I know your thinking that this sounds selfish and Im not even trying to argue with you about it, but who said selfish was bad! Think about it for a minute. If you can't feed yourself how can you feed someone else.

Its only common sense, You see it in lots of occasions every day. I will give you one example; lets take a trip to your favorite destination. You make your trip plans. You arrive at the airport and after being hustled thru that maze like cattle, that they call security check, you arrive at the gate. You then proceed to board the plane and squeeze in your tiny seat. Now!!! What's one of the first things the flight attendant tells you? When the oxygen mask falls your to put yours on first! Not your son's or daughter's or your elderly mother's but yours! Now is that selfish or just common sense?

Common Sense because if you pass out trying to help someone who is unable to help themselves now everybody is out of luck. In business you help yourself to become more valuable to your prospect therefor you can help them achieve their particular goal.

5) Do It Now! Take Action

Most people struggle with this one. But to be successful you must not procrastinate. As soon as something comes up schedule it and knock it out! Tomorrow will be a much more peaceful day and you can rest well because you know you are strategically moving thru your days. You knock your task over the head and stay confidently in control of your life.

You just need to make quick decision and become known as the go to person. Take action, IMPLEMENT! I still struggle with this one.

6) Believe In You

Never look outside of yourself for problem solving or any one else's approval. No one can give it to you!

No one will give it to you...

And no one should, however they will try but you have to make your own decisions. Letting other people make them....

Can lead to "danger Will Robinson, danger!" Know that you can make it happen. Most successful home-based business owners get that way because they do the opposite of what the crowd is doing. Ultimately they make there own decisions and take responsibility for their own actions or lack there of action.

7) Always Be Of Value

Simple, if you can offer some one something that they need you will be hounded and hunted for your information because its easier for someone to get knowledge from you than it is for them to go and do the research to catch up to speed. You become the go to guy or gal!

8) If You Want Something Bad Enough Give It!

Don't just give it, but give it in abundance. This is why they say it is better to give than to receive, not because it feels good but because it pays and pays good! Give them what they want. Give them VALUE!

9) Be Coachable

Shut up and listen! You never know who has something valuable to say.

You don't know everything even though you think you may

Being coach-able means you are a good team player and you can follow the game plan. Once you have become a successful follower you now know what it takes to be a successful leader. Listen, pay attention and leap to leadership!

10) Always Be Forward Thinking

Its only natural, you're either growing or dying! There is no in between...

Look at any part of your life be it fitness or any special skill you possess, if you don't use it you lose it!

11) Put It To Paper

Know your numbers if it can move, count it! Knowing your numbers is a key to success. Measure your results in every part of your life be it moving towards your goals or the sale of your products or service....

If it don't make dollars it don't make sense. So if it doesn't look good on paper leave it alone. Plus studies have shown that there is an actual magical type science to putting things down on paper that makes this tip very effective.

Saying No upfront you can avoid lots of heartache from making commitments you already knew you wouldn't be able to fill. Sometimes we agree to things out of favor and over commit ourselves. This causes more harm than good in the long run.
