    Hi
Jekyll Island is a beautiful place and it's little wonder the elite of the world frequented it as a holiday resort. However, it also has a more sinister claim to fame - back in 1910 this is where a handful of super rich individuals covertly met to form a banking cartel designed to protect it's members from competition, known as the Federal Reserve Bank in America. This bank - (which incidentally hoodwinks everyone because it is not Federal but privately owned and there are NO reserves!!!) - became one of the most dangerous creatures to ever stalk this fair earth, and ultimately as we have recently witnessed, singlehandedly destroyed the economies of the world.
I mention this to you because I notice from some of your Stumble sites, that you appear to be interested in Money & Finance.
There is a wonderful book called "The Creature from Jekyll Island" by G Edward Griffin that unravels the history and exposes the absolute "con job" that has been perpetrated on us all. I probably sound like a rabid conspiracy theorist - but truly I'm not - I have just studied the economies of the world with avid interest, and seek the Truth in all things.
I see you live in Christchurch and I'm just down the road in Ashburton. If you are remotely interested, I would love to hear back from you with your notions and ideas on this topic (or others!).
    Peace, Joy and contentment

    Ron

Hey Ron - thanks for your comment. Haven't had a chance to read the book yet, but I'm familiar with Edward Griffin's book.
Maybe you could write a lens about it - that could be really interesting.

And no - I do not live in Christchurch...

    Best regards,
    Susanne
