- To prepare the pie crusts: bake at 400^F for ten minutes, or as otherwise directed on the package. If you have room, these can be placed in the refrigerator or freezer to cool.
- To prepare the Jello: boil 1 1/4 cups water. Whisk in 1/4 cup sugar and one box Jello flavoring. Set aside in the fridge or freezer to cool.
- To prepare your fruit: if you're using strawberries you can make a traditional strawberry pie that uses whole cored strawberries. I prefer to cut my strawberries and other fruit into small bits to get as much healthy, and tasty, fruit per bite as possible.
- To put your pie together: layer your fruit in the cooled pie crust until it is level with the rim of the crust. Pour the cooled Jello mixture into the pie crust until it meets the bottom edge of the crust rim. Place it in the refrigerator or freezer (temporarily, then move to fridge) to cool for about two hours.
- To enjoy: add ice cream, Cool Whip, Rediwhip, or enjoy plain!
