Jelly Shots

A few of the top tricks on how to create delicious jelly shots

Best using chilled liquor.

Utilize boiling water.

Dissolve 2 regular sized Jelly packages or one large packet into 1.5 cups (12 oz) boiling water.

Stir constantly for a few minutes until the jelly has melted.

Have the jelly sitting cooling for a little while.

Add 1+1/2 cups of alcohol to your jelly shots concoction, the best alcohol to use is vodka as it blends with anything or use any other liquor with a percentage of 40 and above.

Keep stirring the jelly shots mix and pour into the receptacles you have waiting, they will set solid in approximately two hours.

You should take care when making shots, just remember that the alcohol in jelly shots is still strong and you could be fooled easily.

Before you serve the jelly shots make they have been adjusted to standard room temp.

If these guidelines are not followed then you run the risk of the liquor evaporating before the jelly shots have time to set.

You can use either plastic glasses for your jelly shots, (as they look far better) but you will get better use out of paper cups as you can get more of the jelly shots out of it.

Use the wee trays for your Jelly Shots, they are very useful for such tasks.

Try using a bun holders for serving your jelly shots, they are well suited to holding the cups and they have a certain convenience factor to them
