The Start of Jennette's Career
Jennette McCurdy began her career as an actress at eight years old, guest starring on MADtv and later on television shows like Malcolm in the Middle, CSI, Zoey 101, Will & Grace, and Lincoln Heights.Currently, Jennette is starring in a comedy kids show on Nickelodeon called iCarly, playing the hilariously vicious-yet-lovable Sam.
In 2009, Jennette announced the release of her album. March 10, "So Close", her first single, was released, and later on May 19, "Homeless Heart" was released.
Jennette's album is set to release this summer, on June 30, 2009!

Nickelodeon and Disney try to take their actors/actresses and make them into singers. That is what occurred here with Jennette. Yes, she can sing, but it's not what she started out as. I feel she she should stick to her beginning commitment with iCarly.

Jennette is one of those very rare... actually the ONLY person who i believe should be BOTH a singer and actress. she's amazingly talented on screen and when i first her one of her songs i was so amazed that at that second she became my biggest idol..... cheesy, i know
