Featuring the Music of Jennifer Robin

Jennifer Robin has been creating her unique style of jazzy, folky music ever since she learned to play the guitar at age 10. This showcase includes one of Jennifer's music videos and a few of her live performances at Kulak's Woodshed in California.

Closest Thing to Heaven Music Video

This is a music video I made for my CD "Eye Of The Storm". Directed by Susan Johnson, the set is a recreation of one of Vincent Van Goghs most famous paintings.

Be-Ya

Kulak's Woodshed

This is probably the happiest song I have ever written. The DVD was shot at Kulak's Woodshed in North Hollywood on August 4, 2007. With me on percussion are Nicole Falzone and Michelle Magione. What fun that was!

Come Rain or Come Shine

Kulak's Woodshed

This is one my all time favorite standards to sing. I never get tired of it.

500 Miles

Kulak's Woodshed

Here is another video from Kulak's Woodshed in Los Angeles. It was "Songbird" night and I had the pleasure of singing this duet with the very talented Lindsay Tomasic. I love the melody of this classic folk song.

Improbable Marriage Between Folk and Jazz!

In my view Jennifer Robin proves to be not only a great singer but a great songwriter as well. Her cd Nonodey is magnificent. This good-looking woman sings her remarkable personal (self-penned) songs with a velvet voice that reminds me of Joni Mitchell, Rickie Lee Jones and other famous singers. Her music is an improbable marriage between folk and jazz. Ideal record for midwinter nights!
