MTV did not really strike all the right notes in 2009 with the introduction on its new reality TV show, Jersey Shores. The show sparked plenty of controversy and criticism, depicting Italian-American stereotypes and with the use of language such as Guido and Guidette, which is regarded as an ethnic slur, in promoting the show. MTV was not moved by the crticism though, and resisted calls to remove the show in spite of sponsors' ads not airing during the show. In spite of, or maybe because of all the publicity, the exploits of the eight young vacationing housemates have a growing following and a second season of the series started airing in 2010, and they have started filming a third for 2011.
Some of the characters are particularly popular, such as Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino. So, when it comes to your next Halloween party, consider dressing up as one of these characters. There are some great Jersey Shore costumes available, so why why not throw a Jersey Shore party?

- I like the idea of Jersey Shore costumes for Halloween this year. The show has had its ps and downs, but the characters are certainly very colorful. Which does everyone think is the best?

- Your Jersey Shore Costumes lens is very tasty dahling. Laughing at your the Jersey shore snooki costume and just imagining wearing it. I suppose there is a lot of tush wiggling to get in it. I'm trying to get the image out of my mind.
