Up-and-coming Boy Band graduate
In 2003, McCartney released a first solo EP JMac which had moderate success in the US. His follow up was the album Beautiful Soul released in 2004, which went 2x platinum in the US alone. Next up was a live CD from his Beautiful Soul Tour in 2005 and his sophomore album Right Where You Want Me in 2006, for which he co-wrote the majority of the songs. His third studio album, titled Departure, features the hit single Leavin'. The highly anticipated album is scheduled for release on May 20th in most regions. (read more)

What do you think is Jesse McCartney's Best Song?
I <3 Departure; didn't really like it at first. But the more I listen to it, the more the songs get stuck in my head. Into Ya puts this grin on my face. I like "It's Over", but I think "Told You So" should be the next single. It's great! It would get tons of airplay of adult contemporary stations and pop stations. Not to mention, rhythmic, who are eatin' up "Leavin'".
