In 2006, Jessica met an ugly demise. She was torn down and placed in a dumpster.
Many suggested that Disney had decided that Jessica was too raunchy for Pleasure Island.
But the truth seems to lie not in Jessica's sexiness, but in the fact that she's not exclusively owned by Disney.
Steven Spielberg's production company, Amblin, owns Jessica 50/50 with Disney. This has caused a bit of ugliness between the two and Jim Hill of Jim Hill Media has outlined the entire saga on his website.
So, whether this struggle for Roger, Jessica and the gang has anything to do with Jessica's disappearance, it seems that it might be awhile before we see Jessica appear within the parks again.
I mean, when was the last time you saw Roger in the parks?

Jessica is the hottest cartoon chick around and I think I'm in love with her! You should have seen my collection of Jessica Rabbit photos and other merchandise. You could say I'm crazy about her but I even got my own cartoon personal checks with Jessica's picture up front that seems to tell me: "C'mon lover boy, what are you waiting for?
