This is to Ahmed, in case he reads this again. Ahmed, your zeal for truth seems sincere. I want to tell you in all sincerity that I truly hope you will do more research. If you would like to understand why Christian believe that Jesus is God, find a Pentecostal church somewhere and visit it. Experience the Holy Spirit which is the self same Spirit of God. You can not understand what we understand without faith, but my God is gracious enough that if you ask, He will answer and then you too will understand why Christians believe what they do. Jesus may have been a prophet and a teacher but he was more than that, He was a miracle worker, raising the dead back to life, healing the sick, making the blind to see. And much more! And he was resurrected! No mere man can do that! He was God manifest in the flesh, the one true God of the Old testament. This is something that my Jewish brothers and sisters will soon come to realize as well. Nothing will be hid,

Thanks Cynthia for your comment. We used to live in San Diego as well (Vista, San Diego North County). I remember the battles over that cross, plus the one in Escondido. ~ Colleen :)

Thanks for sharing this. The fact that it is on private property is good so the government can not come and remove it. I live in San Diego and they have been trying to take down the cross on Mount Soledad for many years. It was erected as a war memorial but on pubic property. So now unbelievers are offended and want it removed. There is another Cross in San Diego, on Mount Helix and it is on private property. We need these memorials to keep fresh the history and truth of Jesus Christ. Not only did he suffer and die for our sins, he also rose again. Sorry Ahmed, but you are mistaken about your belief. And I will pray for you, that my God will open up your eyes to the truth.

hi this is my third post in this page i follow my speech:
i said that god sent a messenger after the messenger jesus this messenger is called mohammed it is the messenger that muslims follow (muslims are peolpe that thier religion is islam) god sent mohammed to be the last messenger for all mankind and sent with him the book of holy quran in which the story of jesus and his mother mary is found , and many othere messengers' stories ,
Quran is stille like god sent it without changing so if any one want to read what god order his servants to do must read it , the main thing god sent messengers for is to tell to people to stope whorshiping any other one except him ,and jesus also was sending for this purpose but many people do the wrong by worshping jesus and his mother and the holy spirit enstead god,and this is a very very big mistake that god won't never forgive except if they stop that and believe in his messenger mohammed and worship him(god not messenger mohammed)like he said ....

hi this is following to the my last comment
i was talking about jesus the messenger(prophet not god) i said that a part of israil children that was rejecting in jesus they tried to kill him so god chosen one of them and changed his face to be simillar to jesus and called jesus back to heavens where he is still living until now , when that persons saw thier the man that god change his face they thought that he is jesus and so they catch him and kill him on the cross and many people from that day think that jesus was killed on the cross and that he gave his soul for them and to forgive thier mstakes and errors but that is not true every one take his mistakes with him and he will see it writen on his book when he meet god in the hereafter , maybe you ask how do i know this or who said this , it is god who said this in the book of Quran ,like god sent messengers before jesus he sent a messenger after him to be the last messenger and he sent with him a great book, it is the holy Quran ...

    hi all
the man who was kelled on the cross is not jesus, and jesus is stille alive , maybe you ask how is that , or why do i say that , but it is the fact that many people don't know until now and many of them know it but don't believe in it and there is of them who know it and know that it is true but dosen't want to accepte it because he don't like the straight way.

    here is the story :
at the start, first you have to know that jesus chris is not a god but he is only a servant that god(the only god, i say this because there is only one god in this world and all of angels and all mankind and all things in this world are his creation and his servants)i said that jesus chris is not a god but he is only a servant that god has created without father like he created adam without fathere and without mother and chose him to be a messenger who bring the gospel to israil children but part of them tried to kill him so god chose one of them and changed his face to be simillar to jesus .....

Jesus has his cross to bare for millions of people and he did so. But we have only our cross to carry and procastinating is all we can do.
Strength comes within we should remember that at all times.
