I think it's important to add that never in my wildest dreams did I aspire to be an artist. Never had a lesson in my life. I was just plodding along, doing my usual mundane thing but God changed all that. He had specific plans for me, all I had to do was ask Him what they were.
A Born Again Christian for about 15 years now, I'd prayed fervently for a little over a year and a half (I know, it's a long time but it was well worth the wait) asking God to restore the joy to my life and to give me that "sense of purpose" that we all desire so desperately to have.
God's timing is perfect and He knew that I wasn't ready until finally I surrendered to Him... and trusting in His promise...made the decision to truly give Him complete control of my life.
If you can bring yourself to that point in your faith journey, WELL...sit back and get ready to be totally blown away by what He will do for you!

- Hello Ruth,
My son in Las Vegas asked me to take a look at your site.I did and I am impressed and a little shocked.Some of your paintings are almost like his.He has only been painting a little over a year since retiring from the Air Force and I have no idea where he got his talent except it must be GOD given maybe like yourself.His mom and I live in a little area called Oak Level in Virginia.I will be a constant viewer of your site from now on.
