Each of us was born with free will and for me personally, all I know is that God gave me this gift of art. Without Him, I could never draw a stick figure. It's exactly how it happened: I just woke up one morning in my forties with the ability to produce art after a year of fervent prayer for God to restore joy and purpose to my life."

The ability to create art is one of the many gifts bestowed upon us by the Creator.

Even if you're not a Christian, I'm sure you'll find this lens both inspiring and informative. On the other hand, you may choose not to pay any further attention (believe me, I know how the name of "Jesus" totally freaks some people out. I wasn't always a Jesus Freak you know!). Trust me though, He knows what He is doing...He created YOU!

I think it's important to add that never in my wildest dreams did I aspire to be an artist. Never had a lesson in my life. I was just plodding along, doing my usual mundane thing but God changed all that. He had specific plans for me, all I had to do was ask Him what they were.












A Born Again Christian for about 15 years now, I'd prayed fervently for a little over a year and a half (I know, it's a long time but it was well worth the wait) asking God to restore the joy to my life and to give me that "sense of purpose" that we all desire so desperately to have.

God's timing is perfect and He knew that I wasn't ready until finally I surrendered to Him... and trusting in His promise...made the decision to truly give Him complete control of my life.
