Jet RC Plane

Of course, not every Jet RC plane is the same. The options are electric battery powered jets and gas-powered. For those that are new to flying radio controlled jets, electric ducted fan jets are considered an excellent introduction. These are radio controlled jets that come with smaller engines. These engines will power a ducted fan with a multi-bladed propeller. The speed of such a propeller is pretty impressive and since the propeller spins at such a very high RPM, the radio controlled jet is able to take off easily thanks to the thrust created by the ducted fan.

Once your jet RC plane is airborne, they fly just like the real deal. And while some may like the physical design of the RC jet as its best selling point, many just enjoy the teeth-chattering hum of a jet as you do a fly-by. The second form of radio controlled jets on the market is what is known as gas turbine jets. These types of RC jets are quite popular and have a huge following.

However, they are not considered the best RC jets for beginners or even intermediate RC hobbyists. As the name of these jet RC planes implies, they utilize a gas fueled turbine engine. As a result, a lot of experience with flying radio controlled jets is required to handle such a model. These jets require a steady and knowledgeable hand in order to effective operate.

Also, the fact that it is gas powered means the costs of operating the jet will be significantly more than the aforementioned electric ducted fan jets.

Regardless of which model of jet RC plane you purchase, based on your flying abilities, there will be a great deal of fun to be had while mastering these jets.
