Jewelry With Quotes and Other Unique Gifts for Survivors

Many friends of mine who are survivors of sexual violence have tattoos. Well I'm not a tattoo person and I wanted to find some other way to express myself rather than stamping it on my skin, so I started looking for jewelry with quotes. Specifically the type of word jewelry I was looking for was a necklace that said "courage" on it, because I was moved by a friend's arm tattoo that said courage.

It was an interesting search because there isn't much out there for survivors of sexual abuse or sexual violence. Chalk that up to the silence that surrounds sexual abuse I guess. In comparison there's lots of jewelry for survivors of breast cancer that have the words "courage", "hope", or "strength" on it, but finding something without the pink awareness ribbon attached to it was tough. Since I had so much trouble finding sexual assault awareness jewelry and products that were suitable for survivors of sexual violence, I decided to make a page of some of the items I found. The items are also suitable for suicide survivors, as many survivors of rape and incest are also survivors of suicide.
