Awesome Hand Crafted Jewelry Armoires
Jewelry Armoires, chests and boxes made by Amish craftsmen have a very high degree of quality. To give one of these as a gift, as many men have, has had a powerful effect on the women they love! A very special, beautiful chest or armoire for cherished things give a message every single day that this woman is LOVED! I am speaking from experience here. If you are a man of few words, I can't think of a gift I've ever received that made such a difference every single day.

I have built modules with each of your finish options, so scroll through the lense to see them all. Remember that these colors aren't exact. The way wood itself accepts stain varies from board to board, and the differences in how computer screens display colors will mean that your actual piece won't be the same. These are to give you an idea of the way the stains look on wood, and a good approximation of the tones and overall color of the finish. Every piece will vary within the range.

Michael's Cherry
On Oak
Michael's Cherry is the premier mission stain, developed and made by the Amish themselves. They have a great love for the simplicity of wood, and wanted a stain that would bring out the drama of the quarter sawn oak grain, and the warmth or coolness of red or white oak. Most craftsmen's homes have all of their woodwork stained in this genuine Amish stain. Regular Mission Jewelry Armoire

Like our other pieces, the Regular Mission jewelry armoire has a lift-lid top. Under the top is an optically perfect bevel glass mirror. The top 'drawer' is actually a velvet lined tray to store things like gloves, sunglasses, reading glasses, keys: anything she may need to keep safe but also have quick access to. Every drawer is lined with anti-tarnish crushed velvet. There is a ring/watch drawer, divided drawers and fully open drawers for things like scarves and other accessories. The divided drawers have matching wooden dividers that have the same fine furniture finish as the rest of the piece. The side doors are flush with the rest of the chest, and are also lined with the special velvet. There are hooks to hang necklaces, pendants and beads, keeping them from getting tangled or chains broken. The drawers are all dovetailed corner construction, and they use the highest quality black mission hardware that can be found. You can have this piece in oak, quarter sawn white oak or cherry. Harvest Oak
On Oak
Harvest oak is very close to a natural stain, just a slightly richer coloration than plain, unstained oak. While over time the oak will deepen in color anyway, this stain gives it a slight boost while still keeping it fresh. Velvet Lining

All of the jewelry boxes, armoires and chests are lined with this burgundy anti-tarnish crushed velvet. This is very important if you want to store pearls because it protects them from scratching and wear. It is helpful for pieces that tarnish easily such as sterling silver. It also keeps other things like glasses from getting scratched during storage.Not all velvet is equal, and the craftsmen have selected the most suitable velvet for the purpose.

Ring Drawers
I have found the ring drawer in my armoire to be very useful! I have several watches that I want to protect when I'm not wearing them. But I also have bracelets, charm bracelets, bangles and rings, and this drawer secures them fabulously. It also secures things like charms, crosses, medals and pins - things that are separated from chains or don't even have a chain, that might otherwise be loose in a drawer and get damaged. The lid of the top 'drawer' actually lifts to reveal a beveled mirror and storage for your glasses, sunglasses, and items you want easy access to. There are five small drawers and two large drawers, all lined with protective, anti-tarnish burgundy velvet.
