Handcrafted Wire Wrapped Jewelry

Using wire to make jewelry is nothing new. This technique has been around since ancient times. Wire jewelry has experienced a new surge in popularity as more people are drawn to making jewelry and more people are drawn to buying handcrafted items. There are tons of information on making wire wrapped jewelry on the net. It is my favorite method of making jewelry.

The type of wire used reflects the style of the finished piece. I have also seen some fun & funky jewelry made from telephone wire. Really any wire that you can bend and will hold its shape can be used for endless jewelry possibilities.
