Jiin Shotokan Karate Kata

Ji'in translates as "love of truth", propbably originates from the Tomari-te school,
it is said to have originally come from the old Chinese Fujian province
The area in China that used to be called Fujian, now has a different name.
 
Gichin Funakoshi did not teach Jiin kata extensively. The moves, although basic, are
very difficult, an example would be the stepping forward in kiba dachi and striking Shuto uke.
