Jilbere De Paris Tourmaline Flat Iron Review

Ranked #11,071 in Fashion & Beauty, #180,170 overall

Man's Best Friend = Dog; Girl With Curly Hair's Best Friend = Flat Iron

I've had my Jilbere flat iron for decades! It was my very first flat iron. I always heard that it had to have ceramic plates for it to do a good job, and that was just about all the criteria I had when choosing it. Back then it cost me $54.00. I guess it was on sale!

I was just discovering the beauty of having straight hair and here I had a new flat Iron I had no idea how to treat. And time has proved it because I burnt my ceramic plates by ironing my hair wet. (I had no clue back then that wet-dry irons existed.)

Great Start

Nice and Flat

Now that's what I call straight hair! I always wanted that dead hair look and I got it. I loved the Jilbere iron because it made me feel pretty :) No frizz what so ever that's what usually kills me with blow dryers. I always used my iron at level 30 it has 40 levels but I found this did the job for me and I had no need to go higher then that. The flatter the better was my motto!

Rotating Looooong Cord

The rotating cord is one of the best features of this iron it goes 360 degrees so it cannot get caught on anything neither can it twist like phone cords do. What a pain those are!

The length of the cord is so convenient specially because I like to straighten my hair in the living or even outside. This allows me to reach just about any outlet so that I can be comfortable enough. After all it takes a while to reach satisfying results with so much long hair.

Ceramic Plates

The two red ceramic plates reach high temperature levels allowing you to dominate the most stubborn curls. Make sure your hair is nice and dry and untangled for best results.

Using the 2" iron allows for a much quicker job since it can handle thicker pieces of hair at once. Great for all types of hair no matter the occasion!
