Just a Few of My Favorite Things

OK, OK, so I'm not all work and no play.

Here's a random list of places and products that I'm partial to...
  1. Ikal del Mar, what I consider to be the world's loveliest beach hotel
  2. Dunkin' Donuts, my guilty pleasure, as all the Squids know. They're all jealous of my sophisticated palate.
  3. The Grenadines, the Maldives, the Berkshires, Sardinia (Italy), Rome (more Italy), and any little town in Provence.
  4. Leaf-peeping season. Outdoor fires, pumpkin bread... does anything really compare?
  5. Cheap champagne or very expensive California Cabernet Sauvignon
  6. Interior design. Give me a home magazine, and I'm happy
  7. Deer. They gobble up my flowers, rile up my dog, and jump out into the road while I'm driving. I just can't help it; I'm enamored.
  8. Philadelphia sports teams. They let us down every year, and we come back begging for more
