I love cocktails, cocktail parties, cocktail dresses, cocktail glassware............you get the idea!

There are so many different types of cocktails, in this lens we're just going to focus on those starting with J, K and L. These include the delicious Jamaican Shake, Kyoto Cocktail and London Fog.

Cocktails Beginning with J

Jamaica Shake

4 parts bourbon
3 parts dark rum
3 parts half and half

Put all the ingredients along with ice in a shaker & shake well, strain into a martini glass.

Jelly Beanytini

1 1/2 shots white rum
1 shot peach schnapps
1 shot Malibu
2 dashes orange bitters
1/2 shot chilled water

Place a few jelly beans in a cocktail glass, next take the above ingredients and shake with ice. Strain the drink over the jelly beans to serve.

Jumping Jack Flash

1 1/2 shots bourbon
1 shot banana liqueur
1/2 shot Galliano
1 shot freshly squeezed orange juice
1 shot freshly pressed pineapple juice

Shake all of the ingredients together with ice and then strain into a cocktail glass to serve.

Cocktails Beginning with K

Key Lime Pie

2 shots vodka
1 shot Midori
1 shot freshly squeezed lime juice
1 shot single cream
1 dash of Angostura bitters

Shake all of the ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass to serve

Kurrant Affair

2 shots blackcurrant vodka
1/2 shot chambord
1 shot cranberry juice

Shake all of the ingredients together with ice. To serve strain into a cocktail glass.

Kyoto Cocktail

4 parts gin
2 parts midori
1 part dry vermouth
¼ tsp fresh lemon juice

Combine all of the ingredients, along with ice, in a shaker, shake, then strain into a chilled Martini glass.

Cocktails Beginning with L

Limey

2 shots white rum
1 shot lime liqueur
1/2 shot freshly squeezed lime juice
1/2 shot triple sec

Shake all of the ingredients with ice and then strain into a cocktail glass to serve.

Little Princess

4 parts light rum
2 parts sweet vermouth

Put the ingredients, with ice, into a mixing glass, stir well and strain into a Martini glass.

London Fog

2 parts white crème de menthe
2 parts pernod
1 scoop vanilla ice-cream

Place all of the ingredients along with some cracked ice into a blender and blitz on medium for a few seconds. Serve in a chilled pousse-café glass.
