Joat is part of a name OFA (Our Favorite Author) is known to use online.
I'm a member of the S.M. Stirling Yahoo Group which I heartily recommend for its lively discussions on a variety of topics.
As "Joat" has not nominated a charity for this site I've set that option to the general Squidoo Charity Fund!

In the latest book Judy lists the places she thinks inspired the PPA Castle Todenangst, designed and built by deceased megalomanic Norman Armiger, as being Chateau de Pierrefonds, Carcassone, and Neuschwanstein in Bavaria.
