    Actually -- No. Joey went to the same high school as my wife but was some years ahead. She was frequently seen around town (usually wrapped in a chinchilla coat at the time) but was not ... well, I could tell you some stories but maybe I'll just make a lens someday....or ask my wife to since she is the one with the connections...

    I remember Joey Heatherton in the 'Happy Hooker goes to Washington' and 'Blue Beard'. She was many a pre-teen boy's fantasy in the late 60's and early 70's. Thanks for the memories

    Great lens, I was born in the late 60's so didn't really know much about her. There is such a striking resemblance to Marilyn Monroe in that photo you show from TV Guide Magazine, August 31, 1963. Love her hair cut!

    Very entertaining lens! Joey was very popular when I was a teenager and in my early 20s. It's not hard to see why she could be your doppelganger, or vice versa!

    I remember her from all the TV variety specials my mom used to make us watch. She certainly made a Perry Como special a lot more interesting for a teenage boy!

    ive heard a little bit about joey heatherton. my mom told me how big she was in the 60s/70s and i read something one time about all the actresses in the 50s and 60s that imitated brigitte bardots hair and eye makeup and joey heatherton was one of them. speaking of brigitte bardot, she was the original sex kitten. she coined that term! im not taking anything from joey, but brigitte is the worlds first sex kitten and its well documented.

    I shared a Girl Scout tent with her AT 15, and we auditioned together for Sound of Music.I didn't have talent, but we both got it!! Exciting 6 months commuting from RVC together doing homework. She was talented. However, she couldn't ever pick the right guy.

    I met Joey and her father Ray Heatherton years and years ago. I was about ten years old, and falling in love was just not a strong enough description for how I felt about the lady. Thanks for the memories.

    Joey Heatherton is very underrated and this is a great tribute to her. Quadruple threat! I did notice that her father died a few months after her spread in Playboy. I hope it was with pride - she doesn't look 53 on that cover. Yow! Great lens, and a great performer.

    I can remember seeing her on television as a child as thinking how absolutely gorgeous she was. I loved her voice and her style. JaguarJulie seems to have that same style, beauty and charm. Where can I sign up for those charm classes? Love the lens!
