Be sure and check it out - 'cause we will be featuring a new pup in need every day of the week. And there are great links to all kinds of rescue organizations - purebred and All-American - throughout the country.
And don't forget to grab one of our chicklets to post on your site or blog and link to Rescue Me, we know it will help a pup in need.
Johann Sebastian Bach was born in Eisenach, Germany to an extraordinarily musical family - for more than 200 years the Bach family had produced dozens of worthy performers and composers during a period in which the church, local government and the aristocracy provided significant support for professional music making in the German-speaking world, particularly in the eastern electorates of Thuringia and Saxony. This is my family! We are all named after classical composers. Mom used to be a classical flutist - but she doesn't have much time for that anymore. And besides, not so sure we'd put up with the 'noise'.
My sister Gracie was named after Grace Williams.See me in action and vote for your favorite!
Agility is my absolute favorite thing in the world! I've been training in agility since June 2005 and competing in USDAA since December 2005 and AKC since May 2006 -- so far I have my MX and MXJ in AKC and my MAD, JCH, SAM, and RM in USDAA. And I'm a Cynosport World Games '07 National Qualifier in Steeplechase and Grand Prix, and a '08 Qualifier in Dog Agility Masters Team!
Watch my blog to see how I did!
AGILITY ROCKS!

Larry Merrill is an artist. January 29 '06 through February 17, '07 was the Year of the Dog on the Chinese Zodiac. To join in that celebration, Larry provided a piece of original art for each day of the year - a Dog Each Day.
I am incredibly honored and grateful to Nat Dickinson for drawing this amazing piece of art, of me! I think he really captured the wild and woolly side of me. When I get serious about agility, and working the course, this is exactly how I look! When I was young folks started talking about how I herded things - birds, kids, other dogs. So, I tried out sheep herding! They think I was pretty much a natural. I'd like to do it more - hopefully in a year or two - I had a blast!
