Who is Johann Sebastian Bach

Ranked #9,727 in Music, #264,825 overall

Johann Sebastian Bach - my namesake!

When my Mum adopted me, she had to think of a name! And she knew at once she wanted to name me after Johann Sebastian Bach.

You see, my Mum loves classical music, and played the flute for years. One of her favorite composers to play was Bach. I am a reminder everyday for her of the joy she experienced playing for others during those 15 years of her life.

And I love my name, and the history that comes with it. Read more about this famous, inspirational, and talented composer.

Hi, Johann! You and I liked the same picture of the same statue of Bach! *grin* Mine is featured in the lens "The History of the Coffeehouse Around the World." There I feature Bach and his "Coffee Cantata." Many people don't know that J.S. Bach was one of the most famous coffeehouse patrons of all time! Come take a look--I think you'll enjoy it!
