Dogs are not just pets, but are also family members. If you let them into your heart, they'll let you into theirs. Granted not all of our canine companions are obedient, I'm sure all of you have a "bad dog" story, but you still love them unconditionally. And not all of our dogs can match the story of "Marley & Me," the bestselling book by John Grogan ripped from the pages to the big screen.

The story is not just about the world's worst dog. It's about life's long journey and what it's like at the pinnacle. We see the evolution of a newlywed couple's, John and Jenny Grogan (Owen Wilson and Jennifer Anniston), journey through life, from marriage to getting a puppy, to kids and then more kids, and new jobs and moving. As expected, John and Jenny's journey is a rather emotional one, so just some advice you may want to keep a pack of the travel size Kleenex handy.

While the story and acting were nothing short of superb, many of the scene stealers belong to the pooches playing Marley. We get montages of John's everyday life with splices of the "world's worst dog" doing his worst; running away while being tied to a table, chewing baby furniture, torturing the dog sitter etc, etc. The chemistry between Wilson and Anniston was great. They were really emotionally into their roles and it bled through in their acting.

World's worst dog has never looked so good. "Marley & Me" is an excellent movie for dog lovers as well as those who were die hard fans of the book, which you don't need to have read to enjoy the film. So do yourself a favor, much like your adored canine companion, let this movie into your heart.
